St. John Lutheran Church comes together...to Love God and one another, Serve Others, and Share God's Word.
St. John, Ingomar is a strong, loving congregation with a commitment to compassionate service. As our membership ages, we hope to pass on this legacy to a new generation of those who love Jesus Christ and share His word.
St. John Lutheran Church comes together to love God and one another, serve others and share God’s word. We do these things by God’s Grace that comes through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
St. John Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) whose own mission statement, “marked with the cross of Christ forever, we are claimed, gathered and sent for the sake of the world,” is a part of our foundation. As members of the ELCA, we believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. With our hands, we do God’s work of restoring and reconciling communities in Jesus’ name throughout the world. More specifically, we are a part of the Southern Ohio synod of the ELCA.
